If you have just made a film - we'd love to hear from you. We Are Moving Stories embraces new voices in drama, documentary, animation, TV, web series, music video, women's films, LGBTIAQ+, scifi, horror, world cinema. I’m currently writing my first feature which is a horror film set in far North Queensland, as well as finishing off a couple of short form projects at the moment too. What other projects are the key creatives developing or working on now? Why do women feel embarrassed talking about masturbation? What’s a key question that will help spark a debate or begin a conversation about this film? One reviewer from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival said, “Some promising work here from young Aussie film makers on the fringe of the comedy scene, featuring.one ginormous horny baked bean which is burned into my brain forever.” So far, we’ve been told it’s quite funny. What type of feedback have you received so far? It was expanded from a conversational skit into a narrative short during the screenwriting process and we injected a fair bit of surrealist comedy into the story from there. How have the script and film evolved over the course of their development? By joking about taboo topics, we also make them easier to talk about. I think many young people can probably relate to this feeling. I think when information about sex is learned in this way, via whispered conversations and hiding your computer screen when your mum walks into your bedroom, a sense of shame is cultivated. I couldn’t seem to get any clear-cut answers during sex ed classes at school, so I turned to my next best options friends, Dolly Mag’s sealed section, and some pretty dodgy internet sources. Personally, Flicking the Bean makes me think back to times growing up when I was first learning about sexuality. Each child can count his markers at the end of the game. How do personal and universal themes work in your film?.Toothpicks or corn kernels can be given to children as scoring pieces. After all players have taken the designated number of turns add the individual scores. If any beans fall out of the basket player gets no points and loses next turn.Count the number of beans landing plain and marked sides up for your score.Holding sides of basket, carefully toss beans up and catch them trying to flip beans over during the toss. All 6 beans are placed plain side up on the bottom of the basket.Players alternate turns, but scores for each turn are totaled.
